Strategic Procurement Division / Semiconductor Procurement team - Supplier Development and Supplier Pool management for Semiconductor parts (Sensor ICs, LEDs, LDO, Connectors, other ICs, etc.) - Managing projects that are under development model to secure competitiveness through technology application and cost efficiency - Conducting half-yearly cost reduction negotiations after establishing negotiation strategies and logics (Average targeting rate: 5~8%) - Sourcing new suppliers for New solutions and Total production cost reduction - Analyzing worldwide mobile market (Semiconductor Industry) trends - Conducting business trips in the U.S., China, Japan, and Taiwan - Audit; Supplier Evaluation – for regular inspection of Logistics (Delivery), Capacity, and Quality - Participating in 3 TFTs; CEO Ownership – for set up the Platform of Waterproof solution, Gesture sensing solution and Finger-print recognition solution - Risk Management of urgent delivery issues, especially, Japanese earthquake in 2010 and Thailand floods in 2011, etc. - Completion of the Annual Company Introduction File(PPT document) as the division representative - Supporting to verify New solutions and parts - Implementing the annual division-based procurement strategies - Supervising the Process of customized parts development
