      My Honours research project aimed to investigate the role of androgen receptor and its co-regulators in breast cancer, under supervision from Dr. Luke Selth and research team. Throughout the year, I performed experiments involving transactivation assays, bacterial and cell culture, flow cytometry, qRT-PCR, Western blotting, and co-immunoprecipitation. I also wrote a literature review, conducted oral presentation in group meetings, journal club and seminar.

      I undertook summer research project within Musculoskeletal Biology Research Laboratory, SA Pathology, under supervision from Dr. Paul Anderson and research team. Through the placement, I acquired skills in microCT scanning and analysis of rat bones, DNA/RNA extractions from murine tails for genotyping, aseptic techniques, and knowledge of basic laboratory procedures.
