● Facilitated the import of OEM contact lens machines from overseas for expansion of output ● Executed factory acceptance test (FAT) and site acceptance test (SAT) on every newly purchased OEM machine with the vendor ● Coordinated with the moving company and other relevant stakeholders for the moving OEM contact lens machines into the company ● Troubleshoot, advised and provide technical support to technicians and operators regarding machinery issues ● Raised change request to improve productivity of the machines via making PLC program change to specifically tailor to the production needs ● Liaised with New Product Implementation (NPI) Engineer to implement new products which involved PLC and laser artwork changes ● Oversaw the company's machine retrofit such as performing internal validation after vendor replaced machine components, and initiated program change to ensure that the machines met the standard operating process before returning back to the production floor ● Managed the machines’ access to prevent unauthorised manual intervention that will affect the production quality ● Partnered overseas vendor for the implementation of UV light set-up as an alternative to existing production method ● Provide on-call rotational support coverage and 24-hour standby response Have experience on the following software: ● PLC software (Elau and Machine Expert) ● Trumpf laser software ● Congex In-Sight device ● Zenon version 6.51,7.20,8.20
