-Given my time at Messrs. Ng Kee Way & Co, I assisted the associates dealing with General Litigation matters, particularly in Family and Matrimonial Matters, Bankruptcy and Debt Recovery Procedures (Order 14 and Setting Aside JID). -My scope of work in the firm revolved around legal research, drafting cause papers including written submissions, opinion letters and also attending Case Managements/Court hearings. Particularly, in an application for Summary Judgment under Order 14, the Honourable Judge agreed with my submissions and allowed the Client's application with cost. -Needless to say, my supervisor and immediate senior during that time have helped me out a lot and there's much appreciation from me to them. -I handled most of the files from the beginning with minimum supervision. I am efficient in assisting the Legal Associates and able to work under pressure to meet the tight deadlines.
