Singapore, Singapore
I completed an internship as a journalist with Singapore Press Holdings' LianHe Zaobao Student Publications in 2024, where I honed my skills in writing and reporting on a range of topics. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering at the National University of Singapore, where I aim to combine my passion for analytical problem-solving with innovative approaches to sustainability. I hope to explore opportunities that bridge the gap between technical expertise and communication, and contribute to impactful solutions in the engineering field.
As the Media Manager, I was responsible for overseeing the club’s digital and print media presence, ensuring consistent and engaging communication with our audience. My key duties included managing social media platforms and curating media content promote our events. Currently, I am coordinating efforts to develop insightful podcasts and engaging video content to enhance outreach and member engagement.
Through the Chinese Language Elective Programme, I secured an internship as a journalist at ZBSchools following my A-Level examinations. I had the opportunity to explore new forms of writing, such as film reviews. Other than writing articles, I also got to conduct interviews in professional settings and manage social media platforms. These experiences improved my skills in content creation and allowed me to gain insights into the ever-changing media landscape. From understanding journalistic ethics to learning how to better connect with people, every part of this journey taught me something priceless.
