Worked with projects across sectors and company types on the energy transition and sustainability, for example: • Large energy companies: e.g. organizational redesign for late-life operations on the NCS, climate and renewable strategy for various energy cos., growth and financing strategy for large power utilities • Green, industrial scale-ups: e.g. investment memorandum and business plan for battery scaleup, market and production strategy for hydrogen scaleup, market and commercial strategy for solar scaleup • Climate strategies: Green fuel strategy for shipping companies, decarbonization and circularity strategy for manufacturers • PE due diligences: conducted >10 DDs (both sell-side and buy-side) across energy and other industries
Helped organize and teach two classes at NTNU, TIØ4105 Management Accounting for 150 Indøk students and TIØ4295 Managerial Economics for 450 MSc engineer students, during the fall of 2016. Developed new exercises, running business cases in excel for the first time in this course. Held weekly classes summarizing content covered, relating this to practice, and guided exercises. Helped organize and teach two classes at NTNU, TIØ4317 Empirical and Quantitative Methods in Finance and TIØ4140 Project Evaluation and Financing for the 4th year MSc Indøk students, during the spring of 2017. Developed new exercises in R and Matlab for the students, held bi-weekly classes guiding exercises, and conducted a mid-semester graded project in VBA.
Did a 2-month internship with one of Norway’s leading contracting and industrial groups. Worked first with the firm management, analyzing a company for potential acquisition. Thereafter, time was spent helping the unit AF Offshore Decom standardize the tender process, especially the calculation of self cost for bids and analyzing past projects. Lastly, several weeks were spent hands on at the Environmental Base in Vats during the reception of the large oil platform Murchison from SSCV Thialf and its demolition.
Did a 2-month internship with one of Norway’s most renowned and credited investment banks. Worked first with the credit analysis team, implementing and improving several models relevant for understanding covered companies’ debt position in a time of extreme upheaval in the market. The second half was spent as an equity analyst on the construction sector, conducting market research and modeling, and initiating a valuation of an uncovered company.
