👋 Hi, I’m Sohaib! I help organizations turn ambiguous stakeholder needs into clear, measurable outcomes — and I build the tools to track whether they're working. At CIBC, I partner with 10+ cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Delivery to align priorities, build executive-ready dashboards, and keep complex digital initiatives on track. Before that, I spent two years in analyst and coordination roles inside the bank's Treasury, Risk, and IT functions — validating data, standardizing onboarding processes, and translating findings into recommendations senior leaders could act on. Outside of work, I build. I've independently designed and shipped three AI-powered applications: Haru, a personal AI assistant with long-term memory and Kusuo, an Android app for AI-guided habit coaching. I care about using AI to solve real problems, responsibly and thoughtfully. I'm currently exploring opportunities where I can bring consultative stakeholder management, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on AI fluency together — ideally somewhere that moves as fast as I like to build. - Partner with 10+ stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Delivery to align priorities and build executive dashboards tracking capacity, risk, and velocity. Drive process improvements that keep releases on schedule across iOS, Android, and Desktop. - Agile Planning and Alignment – Facilitate planning sessions with Lines of Business, Products Owners, and Project Managers to align digital products. - Capacity Planning and Reporting – Support resource leads to ensure accurate team capacity views. While also generating reports highlighting resources gaps, capacity demands, and team velocity. - Project Flow Management – Lead all front door responsibilities and collaborate with Digital Technology to ensure High-Level Estimate and SLAs are estimated and met in a timely manner. - Change Management and Continuous Improvement – Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure teams across Digital Business and Digital Team feel supported. - Strategy Thinking and Execution – Work closely with Digital and Tech partners to achieve long-term strategic goals and support Agile pods and contribute to the Digital Agile culture. - Team Leadership and Collaboration – Acted both autonomously and collaboratively with Digital Product Delivery team to ensure efficient delivery and promote Agile practices across the enterprise.
- Standardized project intake and documentation via JIRA; partnered with PMs, analysts, and directors to prioritize and scope incoming work. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and directors, to ensure the successful and accurate evaluation of projects is provided to its requestor. - Develop and maintain project intake forms or templates to standardize the project request process via JIRA. - Assist in the creation and review of project initiation documents, including project requirements, to define project scope and objectives via JIRA. - Examine project documentation to ensure it includes all necessary information, such as project scope, objectives, stakeholders, and resource requirements. - Work with stakeholders to prioritize projects based on their strategic importance, escalations, deadlines, and available resources. - Review and assess change requests to existing projects, ensuring that they align with project objectives and resource constraints via Excel and JIRA.
- Validated large financial datasets using SQL, TOAD, and Oracle; delivered performance insights that shaped senior management reporting. - Cross-check data entries for accuracy, consistency, and completeness to maintain data integrity, while identifying and rectify data discrepancies or errors, ensuring data quality and reliability. - Utilize data analytics tools and software, such as TOAD, Oracle, SQL, and Excel as well as Apply statistical techniques to identify correlations, trends, and patterns within the data. - Work with databases, querying data, optimizing data storage, and ensuring data availability for analysis. - Complete day-to-day reporting for senior management to ensure policies and guidelines are being met. - Create charts, graphs, and visual representations of data to communicate findings and trends effectively. - Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
- Preparing paper exams using Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Kurzweil 3000 and Dragon software programs for the following day. - Assist students in their individual rooms. - Coordinate and communicate with professors in a timely manner to answer any question the student might have. - handle and deliver confidential exams to various departments in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with teammates in intense pressure situations by responding to managerial and customer requests promptly while communicating with team members and remaining organized. - Preforming software and setting updates on the scanner to improve workflow among various departments, in addition to troubleshooting network and software issues on devices. - Unload shipment as a team and organize it depending on what department the product belongs in. - Organize products that are not going to the sales floor in the back area of the store. - Stock products on the sales floor. - Help customers look for their desired product.
