I am a dedicated and sociable individual, currently 17 years old, with a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others. My goal is to stay actively engaged in work that benefits the public, leveraging my ability to connect with people and work diligently to make a positive impact. I am eager to contribute to a dynamic team where I can continue to grow and make meaningful contributions. Whilst also being a Sixth Form student, I am willing to work week days after school as well as weekends. I have work experience in childcare (preschooling) which has widened the age range of people I can work well with. I also have experience working in retail (Greggs Braccan walk, Bracknell) which has elevated my confidence in customer service, dealing with difficult situations, working quick and efficiently, and catering. Being young, I can bring an age variety amongst the team, as well as attracting customers of younger ages and a broader social array.
Working at Greggs, I have developed my character significantly. As a 17 year old, I have been exposed to all kinds of people and it has given me resilience, and a kick to grow fast. I work really well as I am friendly, fast and efficient. I can independently solve problems and tough situations that come at me without feeling pressurised or overwhelmed. Being fully trained in this retail company, I believe I can take on many others.
In the course of just over a year, I frequently babysat for five families. I worked with children as young as 1 year old, up to 12 years old. I started this job only because I wanted to make some money along side attending school, but as the time went by I realised I work well with children, as well as enjoying it, and getting along with the parents. I mostly worked over half terms and holidays, and I was very flexible with my hours.
