Valley City, North Dakota, United States
Graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Dakota State University earning a bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration. While completing my undergraduate, I simultaneously worked an internship with Fargo Area Sports to expand my knowledge and skills in the realm of the sports industry. During this experience, I got to demonstrate my expertise in conflict resolution, operations management, and leadership. Along with my internship, I spent a lot of time working with the youth in the Fargo community. I have loved getting to build relationships with my clientele and share my passion for softball by giving lessons to girls in the area. My main objective as an instructor is to give them the tools and confidence to excel as an athlete and a person. I have cherished my success in athletics throughout my life, but my academics were always the priority. As mentioned previously, I was a collegiate athlete and received the NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete award four times in my career for academic excellence. In addition, I earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District list three times. To continue my passion for softball and academics I have decided to pursue a Master's degree in Communications as a Graduate Assistant Coach for Valley City State University Softball. Sports make up a large part of who I am due to the structure, grit, and lessons I have gained from not only playing them but working to develop them. With that, I mainly hope to reach people who are also working within the sport industry. However, I am always looking to find individuals with similar interests and a strong work ethic to build intellectual connections and develop a diverse network.
