Stefan is an entrepreneur with a background in interaction design. Stefan’s work has focused on shaping the front end of new product development, helping R&D teams discover and act on meaningful human insights that can be turned into tangible and market viable concepts. Specialties: User research, codesign, insight development, ideation, experience prototyping, interaction design, stakeholder workshops, mentoring. - Using design thinking to understand customer behaviours, surface latent needs, and to generate insights that inspire design and business strategy at all stages in the product development process. - Deeply driven to translate research insights into tangible concepts and interactive prototypes to stimulate feedback and to test propositions and interfaces.
Sunride is a software platform for selling solar electricity directly from rooftops to end customers on site, without using the grid. Sunride was founded based on my academic research at Fachhochschule Potsdam.
Led a 12-month design research programme at the Interaction Design Lab at Fachhochschule Potsdam. The research focused on community solar groups and led to the development of a software solution for managing large numbers of highly distributed solar projects.
Joined T-Lab’s User Driven Innovation team to develop a toolkit and workshop format based on the Business Model Canvas. The toolkit is being used to facilitate the development of business cases for T-Lab’s internal R&D projects.
