Launched program to improve Deutsche Bank’s IT risk management across all IT teams globally. • Developed 3LoD (Three Lines of Defence) Risk Governance framework for IT to assess risk maturity levels and monitor remediations through to completion. • Globally rolled-out Risk framework meeting senior managers to refocus attention and funds towards ongoing risk management.
Governed portfolio of IT programs and projects supporting Transaction Banking systems. • Designed and embedded methodologies, governance and procedures. • Directed investment to ensure teams did the right things and did those things right. • Rationalized activities across 4 sub-CIOs which saved demand for IT services by 15% (€45M). • Represented IT division globally: planned and chaired stakeholder workshops, managed strategic & operational activities, and presented to senior clients/vendors. • Directed global audits. Increased program delivery success from 80% to 90%. • Governed Corporate Banking trading systems entry to live production ensuring readiness across all connected services including: software, hardware, data-centres, support teams and users. • Founded directive PMO team that reorganized disparate IT production units into a single optimized global bank-wide organization of 2,000+ employees. • Outsourced €50M IT services to vendors in India, Philippines and USA. • Launched €20M program to migrate HR applications from PeopleSoft v7.0 to v9.0.
