Climate and sustainability leader helping organisations turn science and ambition into meaningful climate action. My work centres on embedding and leveraging climate science, policy and storytelling into real strategies that drive corporate climate leadership, as well as advocating for the enabling conditions for a just transition to a restored planet. Since 2014 I've been working internationally across corporate sustainability, carbon markets, restoration and rewilding projects, humanitarian non-profits and sustainable tourism. I see the climate and nature crises as interdisciplinary, and in my work and research I weave threads between climate science, sustainable development, food systems, technology, society and morality, and systems of international environmental governance. Over the years I have advised and contributed to the BSI Flex 3030 Standard for Net Zero Transition Plans for SMEs, the Carbon Accounting Alliance (CAA), the Carbon Markets Innovation Forum (CMIF), the UNWTO Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism, the ABTA Guidelines for Animal Welfare in Tourism (2019 update) and more. I've spoken at sustainability events such as EarthFest, Blue Earth Summit, Sustainability Live, Innovation Zero World Congress, BFI Future Film Festival, and occasionally I guest lecture at UK universities. I completed my postgraduate studies in International Relations and Climate Change Science and Policy at the Universities of Exeter and Bristol, as well as a period at the University of California, Berkeley. I’m a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), a Full Member of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP), and a Chartered Environmentalist of the Society for the Environment.
