Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia
I am a client-focused professional currently providing Client Engagement Support to the ACT Government, where I assist some of the Territory’s most vulnerable communities through in-person and phone-based services. My role involves triaging and processing applications, managing supporting documentation, administering rebates, and applying de-escalation techniques to ensure effective and compassionate service delivery. Previously, I worked as a Recruitment Officer supporting the ACT Government, where I managed high-volume recruitment processes including onboarding, appointments, promotions, and transfers across Canberra Health Services (CHS) and other Directorates. I also provided operational support to CHS Recruitment, AMHU, and NMWU, strengthening my expertise in stakeholder management and HR operations. Beyond my public sector experience, I bring over 12 years of international academic experience as a Lecturer and Researcher in Agriculture and Food Biosciences. My research interests include sustainable agricultural development, food bioprocessing from industrial waste, animal husbandry, microencapsulation technologies, and feed resource management. I have lived, studied, and worked across Africa, Europe, and Asia, and have been recognized among the top 500 Food Scientists from Nigeria (SciVal, Elsevier) for two consecutive rounds. I am a strong communicator with a passion for people-focused outcomes and am seeking opportunities to further contribute as an HR, Recruitment, or Policy professional within Australia and globally.
