President & CEO at OCLC, WSJ Bestselling Author The Book of Mistakes: 9 Secrets to Creating a Successful Future

About

As President & CEO of OCLC, I lead a global organization committed to expanding access to the world’s information. We support thousands of libraries in more than 100 countries through shared technology, research, and data. Since joining OCLC in 2013, I’ve focused on growth, innovation, and global impact—acquiring seven companies, modernizing systems, streamlining operations, and expanding our reach. Along the way, we’ve earned nearly 50 Best Place to Work awards. Before OCLC, I served as President & CEO of Ingram Content Group, a multi-billion dollar global content provider, where we unified several companies under one strategy, returned the business to profitability, and expanded internationally. Before that, I led a successful transformation at ProQuest Information & Learning and held senior roles at LexisNexis. Whether building teams, navigating digital transformation, or guiding strategic acquisitions, my focus is on creating clarity in complexity—and delivering results that matter. I also write about leadership at www.skipprichard.com, speak at global conferences, and enjoy learning from leaders at every level. I’m the author of The Book of Mistakes: 9 Secrets to Creating a Successful Future, a Wall Street Journal bestseller now published in over a dozen languages. My work has been featured by the BBC, CNN, The New York Times, NPR, and Harvard Business Review. Above all, I believe leadership is about service—listening more than speaking, elevating others, and always learning.
