Responsible for Pharmacy & Retail Operations for Walgreens Western Operation, comprised of 4,700 retail pharmacies and specialty pharmacy locations in 29 States, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. The Western Operation represented over $46 Billion in annual revenue, with over 110,000 talented team members serving nearly 4 Million valued customers and patients every day. Drove transformational change through Operations Role Refresh and Store Role Refresh resulting in a more efficient and effective operations structure delivering differentiated customer service and reducing operational variance.
Responsible for providing leadership to the continuing transformation of Walgreens business, in the interests of customers, patients and team members. Accountable for Walgreens business planning, the change office and further development of the organization to support its effective delivery. Successfully led a Transformation Portfolio of over 400 projects and programs representing over $1.2 Billion in investment back into the business including Digital Transformation, Operations Transformation, Marketing Personalization and Business Automation projects driving significant efficiences allowing the business to invest back into the customer and patient experience.
Responsible for the operation and P&L of 4,000 Walgreens and Duane Reade retail and healthcare locations in the Eastern half of the United States, respresenting $40 Billion in annual revenue, nearly 4,000 retail, pharmacy and specialty pharmacy locations in 23 states plus Washington, DC. Lead change across the operation, developed and coached leaders; held them accountable for performance. Exceeded all previously completed fiscal year 2016 and 2017 performance targets in the Eastern Operations including Net profit, Retail Products Revenue, Prescription growth, and Net Promoter Scores for both the Pharmacy department and the overall store score. Delivered transformational change through Walgreens Field Transformation, a complete reorganization of Field Operations to bring our leaders closer to our customer, enabling a differentiated customer and patient experience.
