I am a dedicated beauty educator with over 12 years of experience in the beauty industry, including a specialised focus on aesthetics. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about making beauty education accessible, inclusive, and empowering for all learners. My current role involves teaching beauty therapy to children and young adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional needs, where I work to bridge the gap between vocational training and inclusive education. Teach and assess on courses Act as Personal Tutor to students as required and to deliver tutorials in line with the Academy policy Act as an assessor Maintain course records, and plan schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment plans Act as internal verifier in line with academy policy and liaise with external verifiers Pay due attention to the principles of effective learning such as ICT developments, learning styles, equality of opportunity, differentiation and support for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities Maintain records of progress and co-ordinate reporting to interested parties Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of developments in the relevant subject/course Develop and maintain and co-ordinate effective industrial links Organise and participate in relevant industrial visits Attend, contribute to and co-ordinate where necessary relevant academy events, including guidance, enrolment, open events and Awards Evening's as appropriate Participate, as a team member, in the development of teaching methods and strategies towards an ethos of continuing improvement Carry out Quality Assurance and Self Assessment procedures in line with the Accreditors Quality Policy Present the academy in the best light at all times and ensure that all areas of personal activity comply with standards laid down by the academy and relevant outside agencies. Building and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs, organizational culture, and recruitment requirements. Collaborating with clients to develop job descriptions and specifications. Utilizing various channels to source potential candidates, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and databases. Conducting proactive candidate searches and building a network of qualified individuals. Reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings, and interviewing candidates to assess their skills, qualifications, and fit for specific job roles. Administering assessments or tests as necessary to evaluate candidates' competencies. Presenting qualified candidates to clients, highlighting their qualifications, relevant experience, and potential fit within the organization. Providing clients with detailed candidate profiles and facilitating candidate interviews. Scheduling and coordinating interviews between clients and candidates. Managing interview logistics, including arranging interview rooms, coordinating video or teleconferencing, and sending interview confirmations. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the recruitment process. Providing regular updates on candidate progress, gathering feedback from clients, and addressing any concerns or queries. Facilitating salary negotiations and managing the offer process between clients and candidates. Advising clients on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and ensuring fair and competitive offers are extended. Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovative sourcing techniques. Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards throughout the recruitment process. Conduct regular audits of recruitment activities to identify areas of non-compliance or potential risks. Develop and deliver compliance training programs to hiring managers, and recruiters to promote awareness and understanding of recruitment compliance requirements. Collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders to address and resolve any identified issues. Working from a spec, source candidates from job board and make the initial contact, advising on the specifics of the post Arranging Teams interview with candidates to run through the process of registering with our agency, answering questions regarding processes and procedures, discussing their job search and requirements.
