Development of project execution procedures for FEED, EPC, EPCM, Quality Plan (QAP), ITP's equipment data sheets, specifications, material requisitions (MRs), technical bid evaluations (TBEs), and related procedures in line with contractual requirements. Verify EPC plans and reporting documents, identify areas for improvement, and stewarding all construction activities to meet project execution milestones. Technology is from Scientific Design (SABIC), awarded EPC contract to TCC China Valued at $408 million with scope of Production enhancement from 600 MTA to 1000 MTA Ensure the effective implementation and periodic evaluation of QA objectives. Audit Contractor and Subcontractor QA/QC systems for compliance with QAP, contract specifications, approved construction procedures, and industry standards. Conduct quality reviews of deliverables to ensure conformance with contractual requirements. Oversee daily construction activities to verify adherence to project specifications and international codes. Facilitate QA alignment meetings, evaluate vendors and subcontractors through the Project Prequalification Procedure, and instruct contractors on preventive and corrective actions to ensure timely closure of site observations reports and Non-Conformances.
Sharq Cracker DBN Project, Eastern Petrochemical Company, SABIC Affiliate. Technology from Shaw Stone & Webster Limited awarded to EPC contract to TCC, China, valued at $60 million. Scope is Debottlenecking to remove constraints in production. Implement Approved Project Execution procedures and Quality plan. Implement preventive and corrective actions for timely closure of observations, SSRs, and NCRs. Ensure compliance to project specification and SABIC standards. Turnover dossier reviews, walkthroughs, and punch categorization for plant Systems & Subsystems. Comprehensive documentation of project scope activities for seamless handover. Coordinate with the handover team for the smooth transition of Preliminary and Final Record Books. Preparation of final project closeout report in collaboration with the project team.
Integrated Project Management Team FLUOR (PMC) & TASNEE Petrochemical Company Technology from Linde for Ethylene Cracker and Basel for Polyethylene, EPC Contracts awarded to Samsung Engineering & Tecnimont for a Project Value of over $3.2 billion with a Scope of Greenfield - Grassroot Project along with utilities, storage and metering stations. Responsible for inspection, testing, installation, and commissioning of piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, and packaged units, ensuring compliance with project specifications, ASME, API, and project quality standards. Conducted visual inspections, material verification, dimensional checks, and welding assessments for piping systems, overseeing hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, flushing, chemical cleaning, and drying before handover. Verified the installation of static equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, and storage tanks, ensuring adherence to ASME Sec VIII, API 650, and project specifications. Supervised the alignment and installation of rotating equipment such as pumps, multistage cracked gas compressor, Propylene Refrigeration compressor, Hyper compressor, Booster primary compressor, turbines, and blowers, etc., performed shaft alignment checks, lubrication system flushing, mechanical run tests, and vibration analysis per API 610, API 617, and OEM recommendations. Conducted pre-installation inspections of packaged equipment, ensuring compliance with vendor specifications, quality control plans, and project requirements, while witnessing performance testing at vendor sites and final installation. Managed final reinstatement, box-up, and commissioning activities, ensuring bolt torquing, gasket installation, flange tightening, and mechanical completion readiness for startup. Riyadh Oxygen Plant, Technology is based on Linde & CNASP, EPC Contract awarded to CNASP, China at a Project Value of $60 million, having scope to build a New LOX/LIN Plant (As Part of Business Expansion) for growing local demand of Oxygen and Nitrogen. Responsible to ensure safe and efficient execution of all mechanical construction activities in full compliance with the company's HSE, technical, Approved Drawings and quality requirements while maintaining schedule and budget. Verify that all materials used by contractors adhere to project specifications and quality standards. Monitor contractor resources to optimize mechanical work progress, overseeing the erection and inspection of rotating and static equipment, including pumps, compressors, reactors, vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, fans, oil coolers, column trays, and cryogenic equipment. Conduct routine preservation inspections of installed equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and reviewing daily log sheets with contractors and subcontractors. Ensure all construction, pre-commissioning, and reinstatement activities are well-documented for seamless handover to the Site Commissioning Team. Maintain close coordination with site personnel to keep all stakeholders informed of contractor activities and obtain necessary operations input. Address any mechanical rectifications required during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases. Support system punching and ensure timely closeout of all issues to facilitate mechanical completion (MC). Coordinate with the handover team for the smooth transition of Preliminary and Final Record Books with electronic data for the EDDMS Project to the Owner. Additionally, assist in the preparation of the final project closeout report in collaboration with the project team. Monitor to ensure adequate Contractor resources for optimum progress of the work in the mechanical discipline.
Responsible for mechanical Inspection activities related to rotating and static equipment, interconnected piping, equipments mainly pumps, compressors, reactors, vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, force draft fans, oil coolers, column trays, cryogenic pumps, cryogenic fin fan coolers, and special-purpose water and lube oil pumps, etc. to ensure strict adherence to project standards. Conduct routine preservation/inservice inspections of installed equipment, and review daily log sheets with contractors and subcontractors. Ensure all construction, pre-commissioning, and reinstatement activities are properly documented on QCFs and signed off to facilitate a seamless turnover and handover process. Inspect materials used by contractors to verify compliance with project specifications and review inspection and test plans (ITPs), equipment shop and preservation records, vendor procedures and quality management documents. Routine thickness measurement of inservice equipments and piping systems as per the corrossion monitoring system.
