- Lead a team of Research Associates of various seniority in Analytical Sciences - Mass spectrometry, overseeing daily operations, strategic planning, and scientific and personal development. - Expert at biochemical characterization of biomolecules, like mAbs, BsAbs and ADCs - Drive analytical strategy for IND/BLA deliverables, but also for early characterization studies to build knowledge. - Drive automation initiatives , on the lab (robotics), during data processing and reporting activities. - Drive acceleration of our processes by implementing AI solutions. - Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams to align analytical platforms and data integrity.
Within the mass spectrometry group of the department Analytical Development and Validation I cover the following roles: - Planning and coordination of experiments within the group for the stability and comparability studies, for commercial and phase III products. - Review stability/comparability reports, with the focus on the experiments performed by our group. - Author analytical method descriptions, which are used as CMC source documents. - Providing analytical support for other groups/departments. - Functional coaching of co-workers for routine and methodology experiments. - Representing the department as main contact for the IT matters. - Performing mass spectrometric analyses such as, intact/reduced protein LC-MS, peptide mapping LC-MS to support ongoing stability, comparability, trouble shooting and methodology projects.
Method development and validation of bio-analytical assays, in order to quantify test substances (small molecules) within plasma/serum/tissues matrices using LC-MS/MS within a GLP environment, by utilizing Waters UPLC instruments hyphenated to AB Sciex API 3000/5000 mass spectrometers.
