I’m Romain Sion, Partner and investor focused on building and scaling mission-driven companies at the intersection of business performance, technology, and social impact. I am currently a Partner at blisce/, a B Corp–certified transatlantic VC fund supporting global consumer brands and technology companies, and Venture Chair & Partner France at Redesign Health, building next-generation healthcare ventures. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked across venture capital, entrepreneurship, consulting, and international operations, with experiences spanning Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Alongside my investment work, I’m deeply committed to social impact: I co-founded La Kintana, an NGO fighting youth unemployment and school dropout in Madagascar, and I actively support non-profits worldwide through pro-bono work in impact measurement, digital transformation, and financial modeling. I’m also a TEDx speaker and the author of Generation Impact, exploring how business and engagement can and should go hand in hand. I believe meaningful change happens when capital, entrepreneurship, and purpose align.
Redesign Health is a global venture and applied technology firm focused on building next-generation healthcare companies. We operate venture capital and venture buyout strategies, each powered by an AI operating system and team of leading technologists, healthcare executives, and investors. Our venture capital strategy backs exceptional founders at the earliest stage (often before an idea is fully formed) and provides first institutional capital and an uncommon degree of strategic leverage and domain expertise through exit. Our venture buyout strategy partners with management teams of existing businesses through control investments and creates value through operational excellence and applied AI. Since inception in 2018, Redesign and our portfolio companies have touched the lives of more than 15 million patients, raised more than $1.5 billion from leading institutional, sovereign, and strategic investors. Redesign is based in New York and has offices in Bengaluru and Riyadh.
