About

I am an experienced senior executive and board advisor with a 25+ year career supporting business growth and value creation across the digital infrastructure, real estate and banking sectors. This includes senior leadership roles with major telecommunications companies (NTL, now Arqiva and Virgin), financial institutions (Anglo Irish Bank) and data centre and digital infrastructure companies (Amazon Web Services, Equinix, Pure Data Centres Group), where I shaped investment strategies, led aggressive acquisition roadmaps, headed large-scale infrastructure projects and managed significant global portfolios. I now operate as an independent consultant and Non-Executive, working with boards, Investment Committees and executive teams, helping organisations unlock value, optimise performance and navigate complex regulatory environments. My expertise: Strategic Growth: Advising on growth strategies, investment decisions, M&A, development and portfolio management across real estate and digital infrastructure sectors (including cloud and AI infrastructure), from origination and acquisition to asset management and disposal. Market Knowledge & Networks: Extensive and deeply rooted market knowledge of the global data centre industry, built through years of direct engagement with operators, investors, hyperscalers, service providers, and key supply-chain partners. Experience spans market strategy, site selection, commercial negotiations, and ecosystem development, supported by a strong network of senior industry contacts across Europe, the Middle East, and emerging markets. This connectivity enables early insight into market shifts, competitive dynamics, and investment opportunities, to drive and support informed decision-making, strengthen partnerships, and accelerate business growth within the data centre sector. Governance, Compliance & Regulation: Guiding businesses in complex governance frameworks, regulatory landscapes and statutory planning, with strong expertise in government relations, legal frameworks and lender requirements. Stakeholder Management: Building and sustaining long-term and positive relationships with funders, public sector bodies, investors and legislators across the UK and Europe, supporting collaboration in dynamic, cross-border environments.
