Gandon Capital Markets was acquired by Investec in April 2000 and I continued my role as Head of Operations.
Promoted to Head of Operations which involved supervising a team of c. 15 staff who provided back office support for all front office activities, including FX, Lending, Deposits and Equity Arbitrage.
Worked in Operations supporting the Corporate Lending team, as well as the Deposits desk. I then moved to the FX Money Desk where I was responsible for all currency payments as well as daily position-keeping.
