Seasoned energy industry veteran with a deep background in transmission and generation. Currently I am the Director of Transmission and Interconnection at Vineyard Offshore in New York. Previously, I held key roles at Ørsted, PSEG and Avangrid (UI). At Ørsted I led the electrical development of offshore wind projects, storage, and hydrogen. At PSEG I oversaw power plant operations, including generator testing and compliance, for PSEG's 12GW generation fleet, while contributing to the development of new power stations and coordinating operations with regional grid operators (PJM, ISO-NE and NYISO). I also worked in transmission planning at PSEG where I conducted power system analyses to develop transmission systems along with PJM. I've also worked at UI (now Avangrid) as a Transmission planning engineer. I also worked in Australia as an electrical engineer at Western Power the regional utility various roles. I have a Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia and an Advanced degree in Energy Finance from NYU.
Leading large-scale offshore wind projects through the development phase until engineering, procurement, and construction handover for final investment decision. Responsible for ensuring high quality project delivery and business objectives are met with respect to timeline, budget, agreed scope, and specifications. • Advancing the development of the leases area, including permitting, technical solutions such as grid connection, and supporting bid/offtake and business case needs. • Defining and managing the overall development budget, project scope, and time schedule while ensuring all project risks are assessed, managed, and mitigated, as necessary. • Leading a multi-disciplinary team tasked with development, permitting, technical, and procurement activities for one or more large-scale offshore wind projects. • Supporting economic modelling for all phases of project development. • Developing and delivering investor presentations, reports, and materials
Transmission and Interconnection work on various US CIP (onshore and offshore) projects
Lead early‐stage development projects in the US – Offshore Wind, Storage and Hydrogen. This includes engineering support, merger evaluations, bid preparation, stakeholder management and partner management.
Lead studies, generator testing and manage NERC compliance for PSEG Generating Stations. PSEG Power owns and operates ~12GW of Power Generation located in NY, NJ, CT and MD. Involved in building 3 new power stations with a total capacity of 1780MW. Work with utilities, RTO's such as NYISO, PJM and ISO-NE regarding technical, operational and energy market matters pertaining to new and existing power generation.
Perform long-term, Near-term Transmission and Operational System Analysis and make recommendations to Senior Management, PJM and System Operations. Lead for NERC TPL, MOD and FAC compliance. Support PJM and PSEG Operations for both Long-term and Short-term System management which includes Generator Interconnections and Retirements/Deactivation's.
