Mechanical Engineer with 13+ years of international experience in power generation, EPC projects, construction management and project engineering. Throughout my career, I have been involved in the engineering, construction, pre-commissioning and start-up phases of utility-scale power generation projects across Europe, Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East. My experience includes combined cycle and open cycle power plants, gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSG systems and balance of plant (BOP) equipment. I have worked on major projects involving GE 9HA.01 and Siemens SGT-2000E gas turbines, managing technical interfaces between owners, consultants, contractors and vendors to support successful project execution. • Managing EPC engineering and technical coordination activities for utility-scale power generation projects. • Responsible for major power plant packages including HRSG, Steam Turbine, ACC, SWAS, WTP, OWS, Bypass Stack, storage tanks and auxiliary systems. • Coordinating technical interfaces between consultants, vendors, contractors and project stakeholders. • Conducting technical evaluations, vendor reviews, package engineering activities and FAT inspections. • Supporting mechanical, process and layout engineering activities throughout project execution.
Projects: • Altbach HKW3 Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP), Germany (GE 9HA.01 Gas Turbine, W88 Generator and GE D652 Steam Turbine) • Nuh Cement Plant Steam Turbine Project, Türkiye Responsibilities: • Managed mechanical erection activities for GE 9HA.01 Gas Turbine, W88 Generator and GE D652 Steam Turbine systems. • Coordinated installation of centerline equipment, exhaust diffuser, gas turbine enclosure, inlet filter house, auxiliary skids and associated piping systems. • Supervised subcontractors and site teams during construction of the Altbach HKW3 CCPP project. • Supported quality inspections, construction handover and project execution activities. • Managed installation works for a 12 MW Steam Turbine project at Nuh Cement Plant.
240 MW Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHP), Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan • Supported EPC engineering activities during tendering, engineering and procurement phases. • Managed technical evaluations and package engineering activities for HRSG, Steam Turbine, Cooling Tower, RMS, Gas Compressor Systems, SWAS and auxiliary plant systems. • Coordinated technical interfaces between consultants, vendors and internal project teams. • Supported vendor evaluations, technical reviews, FAT activities and engineering documentation processes.
Garri-3 Fast Track Open Cycle Power Plant (OCPP), Khartoum, Sudan (3 × 187 MW Siemens SGT-2000E Gas Turbine Power Plant) • Managed mechanical construction, erection, pre-commissioning and start-up activities for gas turbine and balance of plant (BOP) systems. • Led installation activities for Siemens SGT-2000E Gas Turbine-Generator units, fuel gas station, exhaust stack, air intake filter house and associated auxiliary systems. • Managed construction activities for WTP, HFO treatment plant, storage tanks, pumps and related piping systems. • Directed a multidisciplinary site organization with a peak workforce of approximately 180 personnel. • Coordinated project stakeholders, subcontractors, vendors and site execution teams to support successful project delivery.
