About

I have a postgraduate degree in International Human Rights Law from the Irish Centre for Human Rights, University of Galway. I am currently preparing a PhD proposal focusing on the intersection of human rights and artificial intelligence, particularly from a business and human rights perspective. In our increasingly complex world, I believe that law must be approached through a multi-dimensional lens. My foundation in the rigorous German tradition of legal reasoning, coupled with extensive experience working in an international law firm, has equipped me to navigate these challenges. Studying abroad at the Irish Centre for Human Rights has further broadened my understanding and deepened my commitment to addressing global legal issues. Driven by a relentless curiosity, I chose to pursue an LLM in International Human Rights to delve into the complexities of this field. The diverse perspectives of my peers and professors have constantly challenged and expanded my understanding of law and its potential. I am particularly intrigued by how technological advancements, particularly AI, are reshaping society and human rights discourse. Recognizing the importance of understanding these technologies, I am currently enrolled in an advanced course on data and programming foundations for AI at Codecademy. This course is enhancing my proficiency in Python and strengthening my skills in data science and machine learning. Since my graduation, I am eager to embark on a career where I can merge my passions for law, human rights, and technology. I am open to connecting with like-minded professionals, sharing insights, or exploring opportunities where my skills and interests might be a good fit. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect.
