I'm a Solutions Architect at Cisco, part of the Customer Experience team, focused on DC, Cloud and Virtualization Technologies. Started in Cisco in the Krakow office, and moved back to Rome, after 4 years, to closely focus on my main customers: largest SPs and main banks in the region. Recently I spent several months in Tokyo, to support the new Rakuten's 5G infrastructure, with main focus on ACI and its integration with 3rd party products and solutions During my experience in Krakow I also enjoyed an internal rotation as Project Manager, to further develop my knowledge and skills on non-technical matters of the business. Prior to Cisco, I worked as developer and as teacher for IT classes. I'm mostly focused on DC & ACI projects, although I like to be horizontal on the business, gaining awareness and understanding of multiple technologies. I recently started working on NetDevOps, Cisco NSO and more broadly the CI/CD world. Colleagues know me to be a challenge seeker who loves to guide the activities. I like to build strong relationship with the customers, in order not only to solve their problem or answer the question, but also to build a more collaborative relationship and catch new opportunities. Responsible of end-to-end design of cross-technology architectures for top EMEA Service Providers. Main focus in Data Centre technologies, Cloud and Automation. Following mainly Leading Service Providers in the deployment and support of the SDN and cloud solutions. Recently spent few months in Tokyo for the Rakuten project. Main engagements: -- for the Rakuten's new 5G infrastructure in Tokyo (JP): ------ Supported the ACI datacenter and its integration with the 3rd party vendors in the infrastructure, part of the -solution- testing in a CI/CD development model ------ Led a new DC deployment from day0 until its readiness for -component- integration testing automation -- Developing on NetDevOps, with focus on applying Agile methodologies to development process through the introduction of CI/CD chains and Agile methodologies into customer environments. -- Focus on the delivery of SDN Projects, involving Cisco ACI and Openstack towards the development of Cloud solutions
Working in the Data Centre Team in GDC Krakow for Advanced Services. Main focus on Networking initially, and ACI now. Knowledge of SDN (NSO and Openstack) and standard DC technologies. Cisco's portfolio of Nexus, UCS, and R&S's segment products. Background as programmer, with knowledge of scripting and python/java programming languages. Developed also Project Management skills with a rotation in the PM Team in Krakow (for 8 months), managing projects end to end. Mainly supporting leading Service Provider in Italy in long term engagement to ensure customer's satisfaction. Few highlights: Developed a script to automatize the analysis of utilized VLAN across a DataCenter with automatic collection and computation of the information. Owned and led a 8 months migration program across geographically different Data Centers coordinating teammates in different Regions (EMEAR, AMERICA, APJC). Deployment of ACI solutions for SP and Enterprises Knowledges of F5 BIG-IP LTM and Openstack Mentorship and enablement of new hired. Professional and graduate interviews From 01/2017 until 11/2017 developed the non-technical aspect of the delivery through a Rotation as Project Manager.
