I got to develop my marketing skills through the organisation of various events (including EXPO 2015), as well as my social media marketing as we looked to enhance our online presence. As part of the Jameson Graduate scheme, I secured a place in the Italian market, where they had never sent a graduate beforehand. I had never studied marketing so I quickly needed to get up to speed as well as ensuring I would be able to spread enthusiasm about the brand in Italian. During my time in the role, I was able to hone my marketing skills to create a story around the brand, increasing awareness in Italy. I worked to create an implement a marketing plan. I used my research skills to analyse the brand awareness in the market and then implement ways to improve this. I carried out a number of events during such a weeklong celebrations for St. Patrick's Day and the Bartender Ball in Dublin.
