As the Chief Technology Officer at Prezzo.it, I lead the development and implementation of a new platform that connects online users with brick-and-mortar shops. I have over 20 years of experience in successfully spearheading new Internet initiatives, from product design and management to business development and strategic relationships. I am passionate about leveraging OpenSource, Crowdsourcing, and OpenStreetMap technologies to create innovative and user-friendly web and mobile solutions. I have a strong background in web development, PHP, and web applications, as well as a patent in augmented navigation. I am also a vice president of the board at Wikimedia Italia, where I support the mission of free knowledge and education. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and I enjoy collaborating with customers, press, employees, and vendors.
