I managed the European Banking Practice, one of the biggest practices within McKinsey, enabling growth, innovation and strategic distance: shaping strategic priorities and mobilizing cross-functional teams to deliver them. I managed the performance and helped develop distinctive assets and capabilities. I orchestrated client development and identified growth opportunities in new segments and with new targeted service offerings. I fostered the European Banking community and helped develop skills and share core knowledge.
As Director of Client Capabilities for the Global Banking Practice, I was responsible for our overall global client capability innovation (e.g., overall strategy and priorities, investment in assets and new capabilities), increasing usage of our capabilities, and shaping our value proposition including market research and competitive insights. I led the the global Client Capabilities Network team (Client Capabilities Management team, Knowledge Experts, Capabilities und Insights team, Asset Talent), supervising more than 550 colleagues worldwide.
During my tenure at the Technical University of Munich, I served as an External Research Assistant, where I collaborated with Prof. Dr. Joachim Henkel on pivotal research in Open Innovation. I prepared and delivered lectures on Technology & Innovation Management and General Management, enriching students' learning experiences. My dissertation focused on the emergence of openness in the embedded component industry, contributing to the chair's research objectives.
During my internship at Procter & Gamble, I designed and developed a web-based database application in collaborated with an external provider in India. I coordinated the provider to ensure the project met our specifications and deadlines.
As a Student Research Assistant at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, I contributed to a significant DFG project focused on agent-based tracking and tracing of fulfillment processes along the value chain. My role involved co-authoring two publications, which helped advance the research in this area. Additionally, I tutored students in IT basics.
During my internship, I was working as team member on a strategic project on financial planning for a major European financial services provider.
