      A £350m project at one of London Underground’s busiest stations. Working as part of an integrated Client and Principal Contractor team. Key Responsibilities include: - Managing the delivery of a work package to remove monitoring & asset protection from Oxford Street sewers. Engaging with local residents to ensure that noisy works did not cause any unnecessary disruption. - Co-ordinating contractors internal to TfL with the Principal Contractor to complete works during a possession and station closure. Responsible for getting contractors started on site safely through the review of method statement & risk assessment documentation. This resulted in the safe & successful completion of scope during the hours of the closure. - Leading the implementation of the new station wayfinding signage. Working across newly constructed and existing station areas, ensuring that the signage, signage controls, electrical, premises and APD contractors are co-ordinated & engaged for enabling and installation works. This involved consulting, influencing and making accountable decisions involving all disciplines from both TfL/LU and Principal Contractor. - Interface Manager for internal and external projects including the commercial development team within TfL (Over Station Development & Grade II listed building owned by the project), the Bond Street Crossrail project and the station control room extension project. - Utilising previous experience within TfL to assist in delivering a package of works through an internal TfL contractor. Improving the communication between BSSU and the contractor through the establishment of weekly update conference calls and utilising my professional network.

Managed the project through and assisted with a value engineering exercise, overcoming the scope challenges it presented during the delivery phase. This resulted in obtaining over £2m of savings for TfL from the total estimated final cost of the project. - Project Manager for the project combing the ticket office machine and station accounting function. This supported the rollout of the Cash Handling Devices into station secure suites. Completed a new contract variation to support this project, allowing the contractor to be instructed on and as required basis to complete support works. This involved drafting the variation, taking it through internal review, commercial sign off and then being issued and ratified by the contractor. - Manged internal stakeholders and contractors through challenges and project issues. This facilitated the project schedule to remain intact and, without delay. - Enhanced an existing programme process utilising previous experience with Excel. Allowing enhanced project tracking and the delivery of ‘two weekly lookaheads’ to the Project Sponsor and key stakeholders. - Assisted in the gathering of requirements and initial stakeholder engagement for a new key technology project.
