• Leading a multidisciplinary team focused on the development of new 7T imaging technologies (MRI hardware & software). • Directing the development of control software and establishing standardized measurement workflows to ensure system performance and reproducibility. • Strategic lifecycle management of complex medical devices, ensuring long-term hardware realiability and performance stability. • Coordinating in vivo studies and managing regulatory interfaces, including the preparation of ethics applications.
• Implementing MRI pulse sequences and pipelines for image reconstruction and data analysis. • Developing calibration-free MRI methods to minimize workflow errors and enhance system safety and efficiency for in vivo applications. • Design and development of MRI coils using 3D CAD modeling, electromagnetic simulations, and rapid prototyping.
• Validation of MRI coils and preparation of technical documentation in support for FDA approval processes.
• Development of optimized, rapid MRI-based quantification methods for internal flows and turbulence.
• Integration of parallel transmission methods into existing MRI sequences for the quantification of fluid mechanical properties. • End-to-end responsibility for the data-pipeline: from software requirements engineering through signal acquisition to data analysis.
