I joined the business as partner and Creative Director 2000 with the turnover approaching £150k. Over the next seven years the turnover grew to approaching £50 million selling to all major retailers in the UK, Germany, Ireland, Australia and Canada. Our mission was produce innovative trend setting product with outstanding quality along with short lead-times, rapid delivery and outstanding customer service. In 2009 and for the fourth consecutive year Henleys was placed 76th in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 companies with annual sales growth of 63% and over 200 members of staff. Henleys' ongoing success led to many nominations and awards for Entrepreneurship including Drapers Record and Ernst and Young . Starting a single retail outlet in the Trafford Centre the brand rolled out the retail concept cross the country ending with 18 own brand stores in towns and cities across the UK and a successful e-commerce platform.
