Working in a busy recruitment team, I assisted in the temporary and interim contracts for North Midlands and South Yorkshire. Duties included; • Contacting existing candidates for updates to ensure they were still looking for employment • Sourcing leads from candidates and actively pursuing them • Successfully assisting colleagues in suggesting ideal candidates for current roles • Searching the job boards for candidates and contacting those I deemed suitable • Interviewing outstanding candidates • Managing my time efficiently to ensure my workload was completed and my targets were hit daily and weekly • Cold Calling companies to understand the size of their financial team and if they were currently recruiting • Marketing the top 4 candidates each week via a mail shot
Working within a small promotions team weekly to promote different events. Duties Included; My main responsibility was working nights to persuade people to visit Medi-SYN. The role included interacting with customers as they leave the bars, engaging in conversation with them in order to build trust and influence them to visit the club. The Monday nights that I worked were consistently busy. I needed to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a lively personality to spark conversations with hundreds of people I did not know every night Organising the guest-list ensuring that people who apply to be on it were selected and recorded. Making sure the list was complete and correct before the doors opened. I have been fortunate in being part of the team promoting specific nights and acts that had the potential to attract significant numbers of customers. I also was asked to give advice on the display of the following semesters promotional print I organised an event during the beginning of the first semester designed to attract the University's sports teams. This involved contacting the presidents of each team to promote the event. It was highly successful and this resulted in the club securing contracts with some of the teams that attended
Working in teams of 2 or 3 every Friday and Saturday night to undertake stock replenishment.
