Senior IT Engineer working on behalf of Sopra Steria. Responsible for the ongoing deployment, administration and decommissioning of physical / virtual servers VMware ESXi 6.7 / 7.0 including HA, DRS, vSAN and clustering. Windows 2012 & 2016 administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and IP configuration. Patching of the above via WSUS, HP Firmware and VMware Update manager. HP Data Protector and VM Explorer backup to disk array and tape library management. System monitoring via Check MK. Processing of escalated Remedy Helpdesk tickets / requests.
