Pior to this also senior master stean line responsible for new builds, oversee final fit outm seat trials, accpetance, certification, handover at ship yard and delivery voyage from shipyard Tasmanian to UK, followed by start up, final fit out and berth fit specifics, training, and hand over to route.
Marine Operations Manager for up to 5 vessels, mainly High Speed ferriesoperatin out of Liverpool and Belfats on u to 5 routes, responsible for daily operations, crewing, training, maintenance, start up and certification or crew and craft, vessel dry docks and annual inspections, berth modifications in Ports, set up of new Seaco ISM system, also introduction of in house basic STCW crew training systems. Also responsible for budgetting, cost control, ordering and invoicing all ships componenets, crew costs and manpower rostering etc...all in a very challenging and enjoyable role working with a fantastic team, it only ended when it became apparent that they would not last much longer?
