Beyond one to one coaching, I founded NetWalks a charity-led community initiative built around movement, conversation, and giving back. Over the past decade, I’ve raised £8,000+ for charity through organised challenges including the Yorkshire Three Peaks, 10K events, and half marathons. The aim has always been simple use fitness as a tool for connection and purpose, not just performance. Alongside individual coaching, I’ve worked extensively within the corporate sector, delivering fitness schemes, workshops, and workplace wellbeing initiatives for UK businesses. The focus is practical, sustainable health improving energy and productivity without simple actionable workshops. Corporate clients (past & present) include: BBC Club & CBBC British Airways Towers Business Park Ltd Finlay James Ltd SPX Flow Ltd Pomegranate Finance & Chartered Consultants Re Cann Recruitment Specialists Progressive Living Developments Tie Founders Dock Vivid Café Bar & Bistro DS Motion Kettlebell Kitchen I’ve also supported corporate clients internationally, delivering training and coaching in locations including Dubai, Málaga, and onboard cruise ships. While my core work remains 1:1 coaching, these projects reinforce how I operate: structure, standards, and habits applied consistently, whether that’s with individuals, teams, or organisations.

Bannatyne Health Club was where I built my professional foundation after returning from New Zealand, having qualified in Sports Science, Business, and Nutrition. I worked across front-of-house fitness instruction, and personal training, gaining a full operational understanding of how a commercial gym functions from member experience and safety standards to programme delivery and results-based coaching. As trust and results grew, I transitioned naturally into personal training, developing a strong one-to-one client base. When I moved into self-employment, clients chose to follow me rather than remain tied to the facility a turning point that confirmed the value of my coaching approach. Working across multiple Manchester sites gave me early exposure to: High-volume member environments Group training and class delivery One-to-one personal training Operational standards, safety, and facility management This role was the bridge between qualification and real-world coaching and set the standards I’ve carried forward throughout my career.
Delivered 1:1 personal training within a commercial gym environment, working with a broad client base across fat loss, strength training, and general health. Built strong foundations in client communication, programme structure, and professional standards within a UK gym setting. Gained hands-on experience managing diaries, retention, and client progression alongside floor-based coaching. This role bridged my transition from overseas training experience into long-term UK-based coaching and set the groundwork for later senior roles.
