Currently leading the Sourcing & Analytics team at HyCC, responsible for the financial structuring and commercial strategy of a €1bn+ green hydrogen portfolio. Development of corporate strategy, power sourcing strategies, system integration, and the structuring of bankable PPA and offtake contracts. Previously, I served as Commercial Account Manager at Nobian, managing major energy contracts and hydrogen initiatives. Before that, I was responsible for the production and dispatch of electricity and industrial heat as Production Manager of AkzoNobel’s 550 MW CHP facility in Delfzijl.
- Developing corporate and commercial strategies including financial modelling of €1bn+ hydrogen portfolio - Closing bankable renewable PPA contracts and structuring RED -compliant offtake deals - Developing dispatch and sourcing optimization tools for electrolyzer operations, realizing system integration - Representing HyCC in engagements with TSOs, government, and industry associations.

Working for the Competence Team Energy within the BU of Industrial Chemicals, I take on various projects for the development of the enrgy portfolio of our industry, such as: - Development of green hydrogen value proposition for chemical, mobility and maritime applications and project development; - Negotiation of energy and utility contracts for European chemicals sites and for management and hedging of European power, gas and carbon portfolio; - Commercial project management and implementation of energy related projects.

As manager of Delesto's production department I am responsible for the production targets of the plant, safety of production and mainentance activities in the plant, and the development of the production team members and department as a whole. Together with Delesto's management team I am responsible for the operational development of the plant.
As a production assistant I am firstly responsible for safe and reliable operation of the Delfzijl chemical site’s energy and utilities plant. I am the operation’s focal point for internal and external parties, manage the production of the plant, and sell the plant’s daily power production on the APX energy markets. Furthermore, in my role I coordinate maintenance activities to ensure their alignment with production, and I align production with maintenance activities of connecting plants.
During this period I coached student rowers of the Rijks Universiteit Groningen. I really enjoyed motivating and helping these guys to achieve their full potential.
