I’m a Product Designer who thrives in the messy middle where user needs, tech, and business collide. I meet users in their world to watch what they do, not just what they say, until the problem starts to speak for itself. The insights are in the awkward silences. Design is a team sport. I bring engineers, PMs, and researchers in early, not to “align,” but to co-create. When everyone helps shape the work, they’ll fight for it. I think in systems. Every feature adds weight, so I subtract complexity until it breaks, then add back just enough. I prototype to learn, not to impress. I'm obsessed with mastering the tools. Clean design files come from clear thinking. I work within constraints, jam with engineers, and flag the weird stuff early. If it can’t be built, it’s not done. I care about outcomes, not just launches. I measure impact, talk openly about misses, and evolve fast. And I build culture as much as I build product. No ego, no gatekeeping. Just good people doing great work together.
End to end product design lead in a multi-disciplinary team working on comparison of credit cards, loans, mortgages and insurance. Use of both quantitative data (>1 million unique sessions a month) and qualitative data to inform and validate design decisions. Extensive A/B testing to improve landing pages and optimise conversion funnel. Deep dive in-house and remote research into personal loans to define product roadmap. Delivered a design system following accessibility guidelines to support three existing brands and allow for addition of new brands.
Worked with SEO experts to identify opportunities to improve site ranking. Designed and delivered product pages based on keyword analysis to support user intent. Grew the site from ~10,000 unique sessions/month to ~125,000 in 6 months. User research into home loans through remote and in-house interviews to build out a product roadmap. Visual design for product pages and design system to ensure consistency across touchpoints.
Solo product designer in a small team of engineers to release a new version of their B2B analytics tool. Ethnographic research with a wide variety of users to simplify a complex tool while improving core functionality. Educated team in Design Thinking and UX process to continue to build product offering after my rotation.
Established Breville’s global digital design team. Designed and implemented new process flows between product teams, UX, UI and developers. Championed UX within the organisation to build understanding and gain buy-in from stakeholders. Responsible for recruiting, planning and mentoring the work of four designers. Working with the Global Product Manager, Design & Innovation Director and Head of Engineering to scope Breville’s strategy for digital design.
Delivered a recipe driven IoT product that spanned across web, iOS app and embedded interface. Extracted user requirements from internal stakeholders, conducted ethnographic user research, facilitated and participated in design sketching sessions, created user flows, built low and high fidelity prototypes for user testing sessions and delivered final designs to an offshore development team.
Development of a new system to prototype and user test coffee machine interfaces. This was representative of a finished product which reduced product development lead times and mitigate risks associated with interface design. Built physical and digital prototypes for user testing.
