Client-side Senior Quantity Surveyor working in the London and Home Counties (super) prime residential sector
• Experience on high value and specification residential refurbishment and new build projects working on the Client side • Providing order of cost estimates and cost plans to Clients • Production of tender documents, including preliminaries and work schedules • Administration of tender process and appointment of Contractors • Preparation of contract documents • Analysis of Contractor’s application and undertake valuations • Issue of regular cost reports to Clients • Ongoing valuation of variations to the Contract • Assistance in processing final accounts • Ad-hoc Contract Administrator duties as required including; preparation of meeting minutes, issuing or instructions and certificates
• Reporting to Building Surveyor and providing full administrative support, including preparation of reports, tender documents and ordering of equipment and materials. • Maintaining the Conservation Team budget and its financial records as well as providing payroll information for the Accounts Department. • Processing maintenance requests from tenants within Historic Dockyard by either utilising Conservation Team staff or sourcing exterior contractors. • Being a point of reference for security and access to the site for contractors, staff and visitors. • Assisting with the smooth running of the Trust’s major projects when required.
• Management of the Admiralty Quarter holiday apartments. • Assisting with research for, and writing of, Heritage Lottery Fund bid for Boatbuilding Academy project. • Managing Boatbuilding Academy contractor and professional invoices. • Website management. • Administrative support to Executive Administrator, Project Coordinator and Boat Volunteers. • Creation of CAD plans & elevations of buildings from existing paper plans and measured surveys.
