Civil engineer with more than 20 years’ experience on mining operations and design, including tailings dam and hydraulic Works. The last years worked as Tailings Superintendent in CODELCO Chile Division Andina being responsible for tailings transport and deposition. She also worked for more than 10 years as project engineer for tailings facilities and mining operations in Chile in different engineering companies for Chile, Argentina, Peru, Spain and Venezuela, including thickened tailings design and pilot plants operations. She was responsible of engineering design in prefeasibility, feasibility and detail stages, including also permitting and stakeholder relations. Silvana has a high leading and planning skills. She has lead different teams of engineers and operators during the last 10 years with excellent performance and good labor relationships.
