Hello, I am Sietse Bakker, graduate International Welding Engineer, responsible welding coordinator and Qa/Qc manager at P. Smit B.V. Within P. Smit B.V. I am responsible for the new qualifications (PQR), welder certificates (WPQR) and the instruction to the welder (WPS). I'm fortunate enough that P. Smit B.V. has a diverse client base with many different materials that we have to process (see projects). Materials are ranging from construction steel S235 - S355, Stainless steel AISI 316 / 309, Duplex steels UNS S31803 / S32750, Aluminium AW-5754 / 6060, Casting steel X52 - X70, AISI 4130, Low. temp piping materials A333 - A350 and many more. Last but not least I am a family man and a proud father of a daughter. My biggest hobby is playing sports and I love skiing.
Tijdens mijn stage bij Abuco B.V. heb ik samen met het management team een plan ontwikkeld om de informatievoorziening m.b.t. de inkoop, verkoop, productie en financiën te optimaliseren. De kernpunten in de stage waren het in kaart brengen van de huidige situatie, benoemen van de knelpunten, gewenste situatie schetsen, oplossingen genereren en op het laatst een passende oplossing kiezen op basis van criteria. Ik werkte nauw samen met het managementteam van Abuco B.V. en met een externe programmeur van Brainsquare. Ik heb veel geleerd over het softwarepakket Exact en de staalconstructie industrie.
