I was the development lead for a new IoT-based home automation product that would help Zenatix in targeting the residential space in India. After successful development of product prototype, we decided to shelve the idea due to lack of product market fit and Zenatix' decision to focus only on the non-residential space. Through this experience, my young engineer brain learned that tech is one of the factors in the business success equation and not the only one. To understand more about demand, customer behavior, and what drives business success, I decided to pivot into strategy consulting. Zenatix was acquired by Schneider Electric in May 2023
