-Contributed in the development of Sovereign Bond Evaluation Tool which covers 170 nations in the world and provides both territorial as well as import related emissions. The tool utilizes EEMRIO (Environmentally Extended Multi-Region Input-Output) Model to compute Tier-1/Tier-N emissions related to a particular aspect of country's economic activity -Developed the initial report for Oil and Gas company transition module as part of the 2-Degree alignment project. The report outlines the transition required to meet IEA's reported 2-Degree scenarios -Managed carbon foot-printing projects highlighting the environmental risks embedded in client portfolios to help them better understand and disclose the emissions, fossil fuel mix, and power generation exposures
As part of New York State’s REV initiative, Con Edison, one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the United States, is exploring innovative business models to help electrify New York City's transportation. -As an EDF Climate Corps Fellow, I contributed in devising scenarios to be tested in the Electric Vehicle (EV) demonstration project and formulating a long-term strategy for the Utility in the EV market. The project was comprised of following key tasks- -Outlining the value chain, determining the value proposition and providing an opportunity analysis of the electric transport sector for Con Edison. -Reviewing academic literature and examining existing utility-led pilot projects in electrification of transportation to learn more about best practices. -Performing financial analysis of specific scenarios, which will ultimately feed into the recommendations for the demonstration project.
