About

An architect by profession who loves to travel, observe and explore new adventures along the way! . . . I have a strong background in Architecture-Interior design with recently having earned a Distinction in Masters of Architecture (M.Arch) from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. I am passionate about sculpting and enhancing lives through engendering architecture that moves forward sustainably, both, in the way we perceive and practice architecture as well as in the development of architectural forms. From the knowledge and experience, I've gained in and out of the profession, I believe architecture can be termed "successful" if it is deeply intrinsically bound with nature as well as culture without being foreign or invasive to mankind. I have realized over my learning years that nothing makes me happier than meeting new people, making new architectural connections, learning and unlearning from self and others' experiences, and being able to contribute to community development and personal architectural growth. . . . Do say hello to me when you get a chance. It would be great to converse with you about architecture and design, possible work prospects, or even just to discuss our architectural perspectives or hobbies over a cup of coffee. . . . • Architect at SWAPNIL PATIL + PARTNERS
    Nov 2023 - Present · 2 yrs 8 mos

Joining SPAP was truly a coincidence. I’ve had and yet continue to have moments of learning good disciplined habits, unlearning the habits that no longer serve my intellectual side. I’ve gained tremendous amount of knowledge in the past one year, from technical to showcasing my own creative language, to be able to express my opinions with utmost clarity. Understanding design nuances, attention to details and to be able to incorporate them while staying organized is exactly what SPAP is continuing to teach me. My boss is truly an amazing mentor. From spending hours to discussing architecture, his journey, to his great sense of humour, he really captivates his essence of passion for the architectural field in turn awakening my burning desire to excel in the long run. He truly continues to mold me into a new person who is more efficient, strong, confident, unwavering in taking on new responsibilities, and most important of all RELIABLE. I am extremely grateful for the time I’ve spent and that I continue to spend at SPAP.

  • Team member at “Mind the gap” at Advocacy Project with University of Technology,Sydney
    Jun 2021 - Nov 2021 · 6 mos

The project is very close to my heart and involves a lot of effort put in by me and my team members. (Ivy Bautista and Mrugaja Karandikar) The advocacy project, Mind the Gap, was a testing platform for women in architecture, students, and budding professionals. Aimed at creating networking and discussion platform around their projects and talents, allowing their work to be seen at the forefront. The project was a part of the University of Technology, Sydney’s Advocacy program and was run with the incredible support and help of our mentors (Lecturer Endriana Audisho and Ar. Brooke Jackson) as well as accomplished and notable well-wishers within the field. Huge thanks to Justine Clark (Parlour Organization, Sydney) for her support in our endeavor! • Architect at Freelance
    Mar 2020 - Nov 2021 · 1 yr 9 mos

Freelancing taught me quite a few skills I needed to acquire. From creating smart strategies to support my freelancing career to protecting my work and creating a unique identity in the field was very challenging. It exposed me to other nuances of a business such as marketing, time management (completing my master's and finishing up work before deadlines), and strategic planning. It allowed me to exercise my control over the work produced whilst giving a whole new perspective to freelancing as a career opportunity.

  • Architect & Project Developer at CHOWGULE INFRASTRUCTURES PRIVATE LIMITED
    Mar 2019 - Feb 2020 · 1 yr

My role as an architecture project developer was very challenging. The position demanded frequent travels to far-off destinations and long hours of work on site. The stages involved designing, planning, budgeting, scheduling, doing huge amounts of research, and data analysis. The projects required strong attention to detail and organization from concept to completion as well as strong multi-tasking skills to prioritise tasks. The role gave me a lot of responsibilities and skills to work on and further motivated me to take up a PGDM course in Construction and Project Management.

  • Architect at Sankalp Designers
    Mar 2018 - Sep 2018 · 7 mos

The internship was a chance for me to ease into the practical field of architecture. It provided an unmatched value for me as a budding architect. The knowledge gained was vast. The learning process included effective ways to address clients’ needs, produce creative but practical designs within real-world constraints. It allowed me to feel the sense of logistics in a firm. Ar. Gaurav Nagpure sir, Ar. Azhar Indikar sir, and the principal head Ar. Shitesh Agrawal sir have been helpful mentors to me and aquainted me with a great deal of understanding of the field and the freedom to explore my strengths and weaknesses whilst discovering myself professionally.
