      Scope of work as Manager majorly includes:- -Monitoring the compliance of the Maritime Regulations on board Bulk carriers. -Assisting with difficult operations e.g. Loading of Nickel ore, Projects, Containers, CA Reefers. -Regularly visit Company vessels, in port and at sea, and report upon and make recommendations for improvements to vessel operations, with specific reference to navigational, cargo and marine related issues, including standards of maintenance and upkeep of the hull structure, navigation, cargo, mooring and safety equipment and fittings. -Conducting Internal Audits of vessels for ISM, ISO, ISPS and RIGHTSHIP. -Preparing vessels for External Audits and Inspections. -In-charge for planning, arranging & executing third-party & RIGHTSHIP Inspections on-board the vessels. -Review, investigate and make recommendations upon vessel operations in areas, ports and terminals that have been identified as posing specific problems or as having specific restrictions or risks. -Incident/Casualty Investigation & Reporting. -Make regular reviews of Company procedures in light of changes to international regulations, feedback from vessel and office staff and customer requirements pertaining to marine, navigation and cargo issues. -Conduct training sessions for junior officers and crew. -To communicate with Charterers, Owners and P & I (in consultation with Q & I Manager) on cargo operations related issues and Charter Party Compliance. -Providing hold cleaning advice to vessels & monitoring hold cleaning operations. -Correspondence with class, Flag, PSC as required. -Coordinating all operations between vessel & various departments in company including Technical, QHSE, Rightship, insurance, etc. thus functioning as Marine Advisor to a Technical Group in organizing ships operation in structured manner. -Handling Cape size, Panamax, Supramax, Handy size bulk carriers and Reefer vessels.
