Leading non-profit initiative providing secondary/high school students in the UK and US with mentors and skills to teach financial literacy and provide guidance navigating the finance industry.
Focus Finance, a global student-run network, is represented by the top students at business schools around the world. I coordinate and ensure continued operations within the UCL university branch while maintaining communication with internal stakeholders and potential external partners. I am also responsible for on-campus recruitment and communication with partner societies. Working with the merger and acquisitions team, I read through a company’s filings such as the 10K. I contribute to this by analyzing the target company’s industry, the pre and post situations of a deal, as well as estimating the accretion/dilution of a merger with a model.
