Project : " TA for Improvement of Performance Based Tariff Regulation of EMRA for Turkish Energy Markets through Introducing an Enhanced Monitoring System" The overall objective of the project is to improve the functioning of electricity and natural gas markets of Turkey in line with EU requirements. Specifically, it is aimed to improve the capacity of Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) by developing a performancebased tariff regulation for Turkish energy markets and introducing an enhanced monitoring system. This project will support the development of a methodology for performance-based calculation, improve the energy market monitoring system of EMRA, and enhance EMRA’s capacity to regulate the market through the use of performance-based tariffs.
· Natural Gas Procurement Strategy & Contracting. . Purchasing and trading decision for 1 bcm/year NG (approximately 1,8 billion TL) · Development of natural gas dispatch processes and supporting Process Development. · Monitoring Regulatory and Legislative changes and doing impact analysis · Developing NG procurement strategy based on the available supply contract terms and conditions and inherent market risks. · Leading GSA negotiations and contracting · Managing relationship with BOTAS, EMRA, TEIAS, EPİAS, Private NG Suppliers and all other counterparties · Cash Management - Trade Accounts Receivable, Payables and Collections · Management of Outgoing and Incoming Trading Invoices from creation to settlement and collection. · Confirmation of Trades in a timely manner according to T&C of the captured trade and Trader limits. · Contract Management- register Trading Counterparties, sets credit limits, contracting and collateral management and monitoring · Confirmation and settlement of all Trades incl. daily trades in DAM, B&S and intraday markets for both electricity and gas.
