Build AI tools to support AWS teams to automate operational maintenance.
Elastic Container Registry (ECR) • Designed and implemented the core workflow for ECR Image Archival, launched at AWS re:Invent 2025, enabling customers to archive and restore container images across multiple storage classes based on access frequency, improving cost efficiency while preserving operational flexibility at scale. (The project was introduced in an AWS re:Invent session: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6HT6zFcWzo) • Consolidated two duplicated services by deprecating the legacy internet-facing service and migrating traffic to a newly exposed internal service. Set up new internet-facing DNS endpoints and load balancers, redirected production traffic, and retired the old infrastructure — resulting in $300K in annual cost savings.
Designed and implemented Tag Mutability Exclusion List Project. The feature was later launched to production, with a great portion of implementation from my internship directly reused.
Wrote Python, Java, and R scripts to clean, transform, and analyze research data for the Economics and Computer Science departments.
Coordinate internal training and management events within the company.
