Hey everyone, I'm Shuhul Kaul. I am a dedicated student of international business management who is very interested in the sports and business world. I have a strong academic background and am very interested in learning about the global markets, running businesses, and the business side of sports. I want to have a great career in sports business management, focusing on areas like marketing, event planning, and running operations in the sports industry. I have good leadership and teamwork skills, and I can also adjust to new situations and problems. I still want to learn and grow in the world of sports and business, and I'm more motivated than ever to do so.
I did a part time as a salesperson and represented Lenovo at Sharaf DG, where I developed strong communication and customer service skills by assisting the customers in choosing the right electronic products based on their needs and budget. My role involved in explaining the product features, comparing different brands and ensuring that the customers had a satisfying shopping experience. I also handled the basic sales transactions, maintained the product displays and stayed updated on the latest tech products and upcoming promotions such as back to school. This as an experience for me helped in building confidence in sales, improving on my interpersonal skills and understand the real world business operations in a fast paced retail environment.
During my internship with Al Areesh club, I worked as a Gym Trainer Intern, supporting the member in achieving their fitness goals by using a structured guidance and motivation. In this role, I assisted in planning and organizing a workout plan, positive training environment. I helped in monitoring the progress of my clients and providing them basic fitness advice. This experience improved on my teamwork and time management skills, while also boosting my practical understanding of fitness training and client management.
As a sales person at IKEA, I supported the day to day operations of the sales department, focusing on the customer service, product placement and team coordination. My role as a sales person helped me to develop a strong understanding of the IKEA retail strategy and values, with the practical experiments in sales planning and customer engagement.
During my internship with Bank of Baroda, I gained a valuable insight in the practices of compliance, which included regulatory requirements, risk management and internal control processes. In my role as a compliance trainer, I developed the understanding of how to educate the employees on adherence to the policies, ethical standards and the legal frameworks. While supporting the monitoring and evaluation of the compliance procedure within the organization.
