I’m an anthropologist at Columbia studying the AI startup universe in New York City and San Francisco. I’m particularly interested in what drives people to found AI companies, how founders imagine the future, and how emotions like anxiety and hope are transformed into capital. Ultimately, I want to find out how to help founders better meet the moment. Alongside my academic research, I’ve worked at AI companies in marketing and growth roles.
