I have a strong background in physics and specifically optical physics, and also enjoy working on a wide range of technologies from mechanical, electrical and software. I also has extensive experience in design protection. As I have a PhD in quantum optics, I am passionate about quantum technologies and assist my clients by lending my quantum optics qualifications in due diligence and freedom to operate work, as well as patent prosecution. Prior to that, I worked at the Australian Patent Office (IP Australia) in various roles including: patent examiner, senior process analyst and acting senior patent examiner. Lead and manage APAA - AU Group Committee, represent Australia at the Asian Patent Attorney Conference, run and organise annual APAA-AU Day meeting, interact with APAA - Head Office on behalf of members and Committee
As Secretary I managed responses to member enquiries, processed new memberships and member renewals, kept the list of members updated, forwarded notices from APAA, and assisted in preparation of the APAA- Australia Group Day Meeting each year.
